Is it possible to prepare for IBPS PO 2019 exam in 3 months?

Hi Aspirants!!!

Candidates who are preparing for IBPS PO 2019 Exam for the first time will have one question in mind related to the syllabus. The question will be- How much time it will take to complete it effectively?  If you speak of the time left for the IBPS PO 2019 PRELIMS EXAM it is about three months and it is sufficient. One needs to make a smart and regular study plan after doing a thorough research of the exam pattern and syllabus. Most of the topics in English and Mathematics Section are covered in HIGHER SECONDARY CBSE SYLLABUS, thus, it is not difficult to prepare these topics within four months. It needs a thorough revision and practice and you will be able to master them. Everyone is not the master of all the trades; therefore, there must be some difficult topics which you could not understand during school times. Segregate them and then make the study plan. It will give you the best results. Break the entire syllabus into small sections and fix time table to cover them. If you will follow the pattern regularly you can cover the syllabus well in time. You need to have strong will and determination to qualify the exam which will inspire you to work hard towards your targeted job.

According to the exam calendar of IBPS, PO preliminary exam is scheduled in the month of October 2019. It means now you have around three months left for the exam. The sections to be examined are three namely, English Language, Numerical Ability and Reasoning Ability. More than half of the English grammar topics are covered by you in higher secondary level, therefore you have to master only the exam pattern in which the questions are asked.

English section covers questions in MCQs format which is entirely different than CBSE pattern. It can be studied if you buy a question bank of previous year and understand the pattern. It covers various types of question formats such as spot the error, reading comprehension, cloze test, sentence improvement, spelling mistakes, Para jumbles, jumbled sentence, etc. All these topics are based on the parts of speech therefore one has to master the basic grammar rules and then it will be easy for you to solve the questions. This section is designed to analyze the language proficiency of the candidate.

Mathematics or Numerical Ability section is also MCQs based which again needs thorough practice of the formulae and theorems learned in the higher secondary level. The topics which are difficult for you at the school times should be taken up first while preparing for the exam. All the topics should be followed by 50 to 60 questions based on the chapter to master the formulae and concepts. Then take a topic test from any online mock test series and submit for the feedback. Take the feedback seriously and improve your shortcomings. It is easy and quick way to understand the errors committed by you. Take the help of subject experts of the subsequent mock test series portal to give you the right and detailed solution. It will surely give you the best exam preparation. Learn the tables and short tricks to improve the speed of solving the questions as it is the calculation based section and needs lot of practice.

Reasoning section is quiz based and it only needs practice and trick to understand the quizzes and puzzles. Topics like Seating Arrangement; Puzzles are time consuming and needs lot of practice to acquire speed and accuracy both. Take more than 50 questions on each topic to master them. Seating arrangement topic needs lot of practice therefore take one topic test of about 20 questions every day and get it checked and work on the feedback subsequently.

Hope this brief discussion must have given you the idea to make a small and smart study plan to qualify the most competitive exams of banking sector i.e. IBPS PO prelims exam. Prepare well and you are sure to win in this competition.

All the best!!!
